*6 FREE Selling Tips*1.) Before listing your house, it is a good idea to take down all personal photos. You want potential buyers to picture themselves living in your property. Having personal photos of you and your family may block their ability to envision themselves in the property.
.) Colors. Paint your wallswarm, neutral colors, the best color for most looking to sell is beige. Bold colors like red, highlighter yellow, and orange typically are not conducive to selling a home effectively.
.) Take out the clutter. Living in a home for any length of time will cause people to accumulate stuff. When buyers comr through your home it is ideal to have your home looking like no one is living there. I guarentee if you de-clutter your home it will sell in half the time it would have otherwise.
.) Fixing. Fix any leaky sinks, holes in the wall, or other small problems your home may have. Many buyers are scared of the "Little stuff"
.) Accomodate. In todays market, if you have buyers who want to see your house in a moments notice...... do your best to make it happen. If they pass over your house there are 30-40 other listings they will look at and never think twice about coming back to see your property.
.) Curb appeal. You will be surprised at the number of buyers who look at a property from the street and say, "Pass". $150 worth of flowers along with your uncles Chevy Silverado with a yard of mulch in the back will go a long way. Take a saturday afternoon ans spruce things up to make the home more appealing from the outside.
